First of all, on behalf of the entire Unikon team, I would like to wish you and your families a very happy 2022. 2021 is behind us and we look back on a turbulent and special year in which COVID has challenged us again. Nevertheless, we are proud of the concluded result that we achieved in 2021, partly thanks to your commitment and confidence.
We hope to continue working with you in the new year to realise great projects. Our goal for this year is to support you more and better. We are working hard on a new machine/quotation configurator, new product brochures/leaflets and training videos. We hope to be able to tell you more about this soon.

K-200; big in performance and attractive in size and price
The K-200 cleans 200 litre standard trolleys quickly, effectively and of course, optimally. Thanks to its new design, it fits into practically any space and all that at a very attractive price.
Transport trolleys must be hygienically clean and quickly available again. Unikon has modified its existing K-200 model, making it more compact and cleans even more efficiently and effectively! Our new model is very user-friendly and has an automatically closing and tilting door. Thanks to a rotating spray system, the standard trolley is cleaned faster and the water consumption is considerably reduced. Thanks to its ingenious design, the K-200 will always find a place in your customer’s production area.

Label flipper picks your labels in a jiffy
Unikon thinks along with its customers and makes crates hygienically clean and the production process as effective as possible. A good example of this is our label flipper, which removes the labels from the crates.
Many crates are labelled with information about the contents of the crate. With each new filling, a new label must be inserted into the crate’s holder and the old one removed. This removal is often done by hand, which is very labour-intensive. It is also a very precise job, because when a label ends up in the washing machine, it can clog up the machine.
Unikon offers you the solution to remove labels automatically and developed the label flipper. The crate can be placed in the washing machine and prior to the washing process, the label flipper sweeps the label off the crate using so-called picking fingers. The labels are collected so they do not disturb the washing process and do not clog up the filter. At the end of the washing process, your crate is again completely clean and ready for a new label.

New dosing pump for correct and constant soap dosage
The dosage of chemicals or soap is of course essential in the washing process. Unikon is therefore proud to present the use of the so-called ‘Peristaltic pump’. The great advantage over other pumps is a more accurate and constant dosage of chemicals.
The pump is controlled by the water meter to ensure a constant chemical dosage in the washing process. Thanks to the memory function, the dosing pump remembers the number of pulses that it may be running behind, so that the soap percentage always reaches the desired value.
The new pump is also called a ‘peristaltic pump’ because the chemicals are pumped through a hose and never come into contact with the mechanical parts of the pump. This has the advantage that the pump is virtually maintenance free and the liquid remains sterile.
Other advantages are;
- The pump is self-priming and may run dry
- The dosing pump gives an automatic signal if the hose is leaking and needs to be replaced
- The dosing pump is easy to adjust to the desired dosage
Unikon has chosen for this high quality pump to offer even more quality and ease of use to its customers and sees it therefore as a considerable product improvement compared to the standard diaphragm pump.
